Seven years after becoming the CEO of ENCOM, Kevin Flynn (Bridges) mysteriously disappears. 20 years later while searching for clues about his father's whereabouts, Sam Flynn (Hedlund) is pulled into the Grid, a virtual world that Kevin has been inhabiting since he vanished.
