Liming Li's IP MAN: KUNG FU MASTER harks back to the legendary Ip Man's early days before the Communist Revolution. Ip, portrayed by Dennis To for the third time as the martial artist who famously tutored Bruce Lee, was then a police captain in Foshan. He is targeted for vengeance by Qing Chuan (played by scene-stealing newcomer Wanliruo Xin), the dangerous daughter of Third Father (Michael Wong), a ruthless but honorable mobster who's been killed under mysterious circumstances while in police custody.
