Aging private eye Ira Wells (Art Carney) agrees to help a Hollywood kook named Margo (Lily Tomlin) locate her missing cat. Little does he know he's got a tiger by the tail. Written and directed by Robert Benton, the film is brilliant, funny, and a gutsy proto-noir homage to '40s detective thrillers. Like Philip Marlowe and Sam Spade, gimpy-legged Ira's one of the great ones. Will this one last case-and this one flaky lady-give him one last chance to prove it?

Director Bob Fosse’s nervy, freewheeling showbiz drama tells the real-life story of taboo-shattering comedian Lenny Bruce, the counterculture prophet whose unfiltered style opened up new frontiers in self-expression. Dustin Hoffman brings a live-wire intensity to his portrayal of the motormouthed Bruce as he goes from small-time strip-club emcee to free-speech lightning rod, while Valerie Perrine lends the film its soul with her deeply affecting performance as his wife, Honey, an innocent lost on the dark side of bohemia. A complex portrayal of one iconoclast by another, Fosse’s film makes deft use of stark monochrome photography and kinetic editing to vividly capture Bruce’s smoky, seedy backstage world. *This listing is for the standard edition version and does NOT come with a limited edition slipcase!* Vinegar Syndrome specializes in the masterful restoration and distribution of cult, horror, and erotic films from the 1960s-90s. After getting into a scuffle and finding themselves stranded in a remote southern town, brothers Mike and Josh discover that they’re in the midst of a much deeper problem. That night, Mike is attacked by someone — or something — and the following morning, everything about the sleepy town seems to have changed, as many of the locals appear sick and begin exhibiting increasingly unhinged and violent behavior. With the help of some equally concerned townsfolk, the brothers soon discover that forces beyond their control are slowly transforming the citizens into a horrifying form of the living dead… A late-stage drive-in chiller which harkens back to the nuclear horror sci-fi favorites of decades past with an environmentally conscious update, stuntman-turned-director John 'Bud' Cardos’ (Kingdom of the Spiders) MUTANT stars character actor legend Wings Hauser (Vice Squad), Bo Hopkins (American Graffiti, The Wild Bunch), Lee Montgomery (Ben, Burnt Offerings), and many more. When the scion of a wealthy family dies, every heir has a motive for murder; but will the restless spirit of the deceased now seek vengeance? NEWLY SCANNED FROM THE ORIGINAL CAMERA NEGATIVE The penultimate film from writer/director Lucio Fulci - in ill health and likely knowing the end was near - is "the highlight of his twilight era" (Mondo Digital), "a classic return to the formula that made his earlier work so incredible" (Blood Sucking Geek): When the scion of a wealthy family dies under shocking circumstances, every heir has a motive for murder. When the scion of a wealthy family dies, every heir has a motive for murder; but will the restless spirit of the deceased now seek vengeance? THE WORLDWIDE UHD PREMIERE 3 DISC COLLECTION WITH SOUNDTRACK CD The penultimate film from writer/director Lucio Fulci - in ill health and likely knowing the end was near - is "the highlight of his twilight era" (Mondo Digital), "a classic return to the formula that made his earlier work so incredible" (Blood Sucking Geek) and presented in UHD for the first time ever: When the scion of a wealthy family dies under shocking circumstances, every heir has a motive for murder. But will the restless spirit of the deceased now seek vengeance from beyond the grave? Over the course of one tense evening in a Los Angeles high-rise, two troubled writers unravel each other's secrets. Set entirely during a single evening in a sleek Los Angeles high-rise, two accomplished writers--Maeve (Emily Charouhas, Desperate Housewives) and Phelix (Andrew Villarreal, Kaplan's Korner)--find themselves entwined in a verbal and emotional tug-of-war. As wine flows and the city lights glow around them, their conversation quickly spirals beyond casual chatter. What begins as creative brainstorming becomes a raw excavation of their darkest secrets, past traumas, and fractured psyches. Through pointed questions, sly barbs, and hypnotic tension, Maeve and Phelix each adopt the other as a sounding board and mirror--pushing boundaries as they provoke confessions and revelations. In this intimate, psychologically charged dialogue, the performers fuel a gripping exploration of power dynamics, manipulation, and catharsis. Over the span of 85 minutes, artificial façades crumble, exposing how fragile, terrifyingly human bonds can become weaponized in the quest for truth--and perhaps redemption. A disturbingly prescient ecofeminist parable and a brain-wave-scrambling cyberpunk fantasia, the debut feature from new-media pioneer Shu Lea Cheang merges a bold vision of resistance with an exuberant early-internet aesthetic. In a dystopian-chic New York where sushi joints and toxic-waste sites exist side by side, a lesbian couple (Sarita Choudhury and Erin McMurtry) turn to the hacker underground to solve their daughter’s disappearance, in the process exposing a conspiracy involving corporate greenwashing and tainted fish. Swinging between outré satire and agitprop, Fresh Kill sounds the alarm about a capitalist system that pollutes everything from our waterways to our bodies to our minds. This acclaimed comedy -- with its serious, compelling theme -- vividly brings to life one of America's most disturbing memories: the Communist witch hunts of the '50s. Woody Allen stars as Howard Prince -- a small-time restaurant cashier, part-time bookie and full-time loser -- who is induced by a writer-friend to front for the submission of his TV scripts when he is blacklisted as an alleged subversive. Howard is soon fronting for other writers. He becomes a celebrity and is lionized as television's most brilliant and prolific young author. But when popular TV comic Hecky Brown (Zero Mostel) is blacklisted and his career is threatened, he agrees to keep Howard under surveillance. Howard is then summoned to appear before an investigative committee and his stand before them brings about an unexpected dramatic conclusion.

A bounty hunter is hired by a mining town's crippled mayor to find his daughter. Bounty hunter Blade (Maurizio Merli), who uses a tomahawk as a throwing weapon, arrives at the mining town of Suttonville with the outlaw Burt Craven (Donald O'Brien) as his prisoner. His real motive is to kill mining big boss McGowan (Philippe Leroy) who has killed his father. Blade gives up his revenge - because McGowan "is not worth it" - and instead accepts to deliver the ransom for the mine owner's daughter (Sonja Jeannine). However, this mission fails because she turns out to be the lover of her kidnapper, McGowan's foreman Voller (John Steiner), who secretly works for a gang that regularly robs the shipments of silver from the mine. Voller then kills his boss and turns his mining empire into bloody chaos by massacring the mine workers. Blade is beaten up and buried up to his neck and left to be blinded by the sun. However, he survives and returns for a showdown with Voller.
