American Fiction is smart, funny, and incredibly well acted. Jeffrey Wright is excellent, bringing dry humor and real emotion to a sharp satire about race, publishing, and the stereotypes the entertainment industry rewards. Sterling K. Brown is also terrific. Thought-provoking without feeling preachy, and surprisingly heartfelt underneath all the humor. Highly recommended.
