I’d definitely recommend The End of Oak Street. The premise is a lot of fun, but what surprised me was how intense it gets and how well the family dynamic works alongside all the dinosaur action. It has an old-school Spielberg/Amblin adventure feel, while still being a little darker and more violent than I expected. Anne Hathaway is especially good, and the movie moves at a fast enough pace that it never gets boring. The story isn’t perfect and there are a few things you could pick apart, but as a fun creature-feature/popcorn movie, I thought it delivered. Definitely worth watching.
